In recent years traveling in Ireland has become much easier for wheelchair users.
If you are traveling to Ireland by air you won't encounter any problems: your wheelchair will be transported in the plane's hold. You will be brought to the air plane in a special wheelchair. It is easiest to travel with an ordinary wheelchair. With wheelchairs that are battery run the battery has to be disconnected. Special arrangements must be made traveling with smaller aircraft.
