Rossnowlagh Beach, located in Co. Donegal
Belalt Strand at Rossnowlagh extends to the north-northwest for over 2km from the cliffs at Coolmore in the south to the rock outcrop at Carrickfad. The beach has a broad low-angle profile with well sorted fine sand as the dominant sediment.
Rossnowlagh is a heavily used beach with a long tradition of beach parking and large resident and day-tripper populations. It is one of Irelands main surfing beaches.
