The Offaly Way is mainly a link way. This walk links the Slieve Bloom Way to the Grand Canal Way and includes mountain, riverside and access to a number of sites of interest including Turraun Wildlife Park, Boora Mesolithic Site, Kilcormac 16th century Pieta, St. Managhan's Shrine, Boher, Esker Riada and Silver River plus panoramic views of the midlands. Walkers are requested to obey directional and warning signs on the bog trails.
Because the walk is only a link walk, it can be covered in a day. It is only 18 miles long in total and is at its highest at 458 ft, making it an ideal trail to include within your short vacation in Ireland.
