This 8 Day tour focuses more on the Northern half of Ireland, starting in Dublin and ending in Shannon.
Sticking to the coastline, you’ll not only visit the capital of the Republic of Ireland, but also the Capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast, Where you can learn all about the Titanic, and of course the norths violent history.
You'll also spend nights in the walled city of Derry and Westport and you'll visit some of the country’s most famous attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Giants Causeway.

Day 1: Dublin Castle & City Tour
Welcome! On arrival in Dublin you can check into your hotel, then the adventuring starts at 2pm, when all participants meet in the hotel lobby for a guided tour of Dublin. Driving down the mains streets you can take in some of Dublin’s most famous sights like Trinity College, the Spire and the GPO. You can also go on a guided tour of parts of Dublin castle, the seat of power in Ireland for centuries. Returning to your hotel, you can enjoy a welcome drink with your tour group and your guide will advise you on restaurants and pubs for your evening meal.
Day 2: St. Patrick's Grave & Ulster Folk Park
Driving north to County Down you can visit the burial site of St. Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint, where there is a large boulder marking his grave at Down Cathedral. Learn about the life he lived and the stories told of him in the nearby St. Patrick Centre! Moving on to the outskirts of Belfast you can take a walk around the Ulster Folk Park, which contains traditional town buildings of all descriptions, such as churches, police stations, cottages and farms. After a long day exploring, you head to your hotel in central Belfast where you can relax and enjoy a lovely dinner.
Day 3: Titanic Belfast & Walking Tour
Leaving your hotel in the morning, you can start your guided panoramic tour of Belfast City; see all the sights Belfast has to offer such as old Victorian architecture, the grand City Hall and the famous shipyards where RMS Titanic was built over 100 years ago. Visit Titanic Belfast where you can learn all about the construction and unfortunate end of the Titanic through modern displays. Come evening you can join a local guide for a walking tour of the city and spend some time browsing the excellent shopping area the northern Capital boasts.
Day 4: Giant's Causeway & Derry Walk
Driving northwards through Antrim, you can enjoy beautiful views of mountains, valleys and coastline. It was in this region that a lot of popular TV show "Game of Thrones" is filmed! Your first stop is at the peculiar Giant's Causeway, where hexagonal pillars of rock cover the landscape! Learn of legends of giants and the actual 60 million year old origin of the Causeway. Continuing on to Derry, you can take some time to walk along the walls containing the old City.
Day 5: Donegal Castle & Westport
On the way to Donegal town, make sure to enjoy the spectacular countryside views the county has to offer, reaching the town, you have a guided tour of Donegal Castle, built in the 15th century and expanded in the 17th. Explore Donegal bay, making sure to visit the Great W.B Yeats’s grave in Sligo, at a place the Nobel Prize winning author loved to write about. Continuing on to Westport, you can use the rest of your day to explore the old style town before Dinner.
Day 6: Sheepdogs and Westport House
Today you head to a farm where Sheepdogs can be watched herd mountain sheep, on the way you should pass the pilgrimage mountain Croagh Patrick, so keep your eyes peeled! Next up is Leenane where you can visit Killary Harbour, Irelands lone Fjord, also nearby are the Partry Mountains. Enjoy a light lunch before visiting Westport House, a stately mansion which looks across the ocean and contains fascinating works of art, antique furniture and porcelain. Enjoy the rest of your evening free to relax in one of Westport’s many Pubs or Restaurants!
Day 7: Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty Castle
Leaving Westport you head to Galway for a guided walking tour of the City, before heading along the coast to the Cliffs of Moher, a daunting sight, rising nearly 700 feet above the Atlantic. Onwards to Bunratty now, On arrival, you can check into the Bunratty Castle Hotel, located nearby Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Make sure to explore the grounds before heading to the castle in the evening for a medieval style banquet. With good food, wine and songs from the lords and ladies of the castle, this is a truly unforgettable experience.
Day 8: Departure from Shannon
After breakfast, it’s goodbye for now!
