Coxtown Manor is filled with memories from its 150 year history, with period furnishings and open log fires in cosy lounges and even some of the bedrooms, creating the ambience of a traditional Irish manor house.
The spacious bedrooms are located within the original manor house and the renovated 350-year-old Coach houses in the grounds. Those in the house are full of country house charm with high ceilings, open fireplaces and modern bathrooms, while the rooms in the Coach houses blend Georgian character with luxurious contemporary fittings. All rooms have king sized beds and are equipped with the usual facilities.
You can look forward to a gourmet breakfast, with hand pressed orange juice and daily fresh eggs from large flock of hens who are free to roam outside in the Coxtown's stone walled garden. You also can choose of the extensive breakfast buffet cooked and cured meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, yoghurts, fresh fruit salads, fresh baked breads, homemade jams, etc
In the afternoon you can enjoy light snacks, like fresh sandwiches, homemade soup, organic salads or even Belgium chocolate Mousse either in the drawing room on the cosy fireplace or in the fully licensed bar.
Coxtown Manor is perfectly placed for touring this lesser travelled, but nonetheless beautiful corner of Ireland, with stunning coastline and sandy beaches around Donegal Bay the sweeping valleys of Glenbeigh to the North, and Donegal Town, which is just 6 miles away.
