In the past the hotel, an accommodation Inn at the time, was used as a rest stop for the road-weary coach travellers, as well as their horses, journeying between Dublin and Sligo. The Coffee Shop/Carvery is open every day to serve full Irish breakfasts, early bird, mid morning snacks, carvery lunch, tea, coffee and a variety of scrumptious cakes. The Bush Hotel also prides itself on its banqueting facilities, which are very well regarded all throughout Co. Leitrim. Their dividable Orchard Ballroom has capacities that range from 40 to 400 people and is suitable for hosting a number of different events, from family gatherings to business functions.

In addition to the Orchard Complex, corporate guests can also avail themselves of the Bush Business & Conference Centre for Board Meetings, presentations and training sessions. Their Board Rooms can accommodate meetings for groups from 2 to 120 people.
