Opened in 1991 with a match featuring golfing legends Christy O'Connor Snr. and Jack Nicklaus, the beautiful and challenging Mount Juliet course has established itself as a premier golfing venue for top professionals and leisure golfers worldwide. Due to the quality of the course, Mount Juliet enjoyed a meteoric rise to international recognition.
This Irish golf course is a fair challenge, which rewards good play but punishes errors. The heavily forested course has eight holes to play over water, including the three signature par-3's. The real challenge, however, is the exceptional bunkering that is the genius of most Nicklaus courses.
The Mount Juliet estate is a sporting paradise, rich in history and tradition. Enjoy golf, horse riding, shooting, tennis and the spa and leisure centre in this splendid rural etstae during your trip to Ireland.

"It may not be a links but with the new greens now in play, this is a pleasure to play. But what makes this place is the old world charm that surrounds the place and the friendly service in both the golf club and hotel." (Guest Review)
