The Dunluce Course at Royal Port Rush is considered one of the top links courses and indeed the world and was the venue for the only British open to be played in Ireland. Designed by legendary Harry Colt, the Ducluce Course is a masterpiece of golf architecture. While the terrain is relatively sedate compared to other links courses in the area, the golfing presents many different faces along the course from tiered greens to short and long par 3's, most notably the famous and aptly named Calamity par 3.
